Ralph Macchio was born in 1961 and got married to his wife Phyllis Fierro in 1987. Although he was only 25 years old at the time, he looked much younger at the time. This isn’t surprising though as during the Karate Kid movies, Ralph Macchio played Daniel LaRusso as an adult, so it’s fair to say he looked far younger than he actually was. For the romantics out there though, he did meet his wife aged 15 though and they’ve stayed together ever since. Together they have two kids.
Speaking of Karate, Macchio’s history with the Japanese martial art is quite interesting. Although he’s never actually been graded and holds no formal belt, Ralph Macchio has trained Karate sporadically throughout the years. As a result, you could argue that he’s pretty well skilled when it comes to Karate, without being a black belt or expert.
