TV ‘Hardman’ Danny Dyer gets head rattled by one inch punch

During a recent scroll on Youtube, we stumbled upon this clip from British TV show, Danny Dyer’s Deadliest Men. Here, the host Danny Dyer met an ex-solider and bouncer, Mo Teague. Teague was apparently trained in various martial arts such as Jeet Kune Do and Brazilian Jiu Jitsu.

In one scene at a bar, Dyer asks for a demonstration, of which Teague strikes him with a one inch punch. Dyer is visibly shaken by the strike and claimed “He nearly knocked me spark out…that rattled my head.” In fairness to Dyer, he seemed fairly humble by the whole exchange and admitted that he knew very little about martial arts. However, it is also a good lesson that just because someone has a reputation as a tough guy on TV or in movies, that it doesn’t translate over to real life.
