Undoubtedly, one of the most charismatic MMA fighters of all time is Mike ‘Platinum’ Perry. Love him or hate him, it’s fair to say that Mike Perry is a unique individual. Due to being a natural extrovert, Perry has often shown his life on social media and is more than happy to show off his personal life to the masses.
This means that if you’ve followed Perry over the last few years then you’ll be well aware of his movements. At one point he had a decent MMA record and did ok in the UFC. He then went on a bit of a losing streak and quit MMA with a 14-8 record. During this time, he famously broke his nose and it never quite recovered.
He also came out to entrance music by Beyonce using the song ‘Halo’ and found a new love, Latory Gonzalez. This made headlines when she acted as his coach and cornerman during two of his later UFC fights, where he went 1-1 under her guidance. Since then, they’ve stayed together, had a child and Perry has moved on to fighting in Bare Knuckle Boxing promotions, where he claims to make a lot more money compared to his UFC days.
