Mafia Boss Sammy ‘The Bull’ Gravano on Steven Seagal – “He was like a big baby in real life”
In a recent Youtube video, ex-boss of the Gravano crime family, Sammy ‘The Bull’ Gravano had less than complimentary words to say about actor Steven Seagal. During his peak, Seagal was one of the highest paid actors in Hollywood and helped promoted Aikido to the masses. These days, his reputation is less than stellar.
In the video, Sammy ‘The Bull’ claimed that his family were paid by Seagal during the ’80s for protection. Apparently, things came to a head when Seagal wanted to stop paying the mafia family, of which Gravano recounts “I lost all respect for him when he started crying hysterically like a big, old woman. He was doing all those tough guy karate moves in the movies. But (he) was like a big baby in real life.” He also said that Seagal had to be hugged by FBI agents due to his hysteria.
Whether this is true remains to be seen. However, over the years a number of accounts have be said to be more than complimentary to the Aikido black belt.
