Rare pictures of Paige Van Zant and her husband Austin Vanderford
Whilst many will be aware of Paige Van Zant and her exploits in the UFC, less is known about her husband Austin Vanderford. Born in 1990, he currently holds an impressive MMA record of 10-0, last beating Fabian Edwards in Bellator. It seems that like his wife, he too is obsessed with martial arts and the couple can often be seen training and working out together. They got married in 2018 and before MMA, Vanderford was actually a highly skillful collegiate wrestler, earning the All-American award twice whilst competing in his younger years.
Whilst the couple doesn’t actually have any kids yet, they do have a pet dog but if Austin Vanderford’s nickname is anything to go by then he will make a good father, seeing as he is known as ‘The Gentleman’. Whether he eventually goes into bare knuckle boxing like his wife remains to be seen, but it looks like his MMA career is going from strength to strength at the moment.
