Rare pictures of Joey Diaz whilst younger and doing martial arts

Joey Diaz is a stand-up comedian from Cuba who is known for being utterly hilarious and has had a crazy life with the stories to back it up. Once a cocaine addict, Diaz turned his life around and a big reason for this was due to turning to martial arts. Specifically, Diaz started training Brazilian Jiu Jitsu which he attributed to improving his physical and mental health.

Whilst Diaz may not be the most agile or skilled martial artist in the world, his journey is still living proof that you don’t have to be the best in the room to improve and get a lot out of your training. Remember, some people have a lot going on in the background so just turning up and putting the work in can be seen as a victory for a lot of people.

In this article, we have gone through the best pictures from Joey Diaz’s past. Here, we have found rare photos from his younger years as well as Diaz training martial arts. If you’re a fan of his work, some of these photographs may be of interest to you.
