BJ Penn Claims “All Forests Are Fake” In Extremely Strange Twitter Post

The right-wing former UFC Champion and potential future governor of Hawaii blamed the government for a lack of food trees. While this comment may seem completely off base for most people living in the Western world, it’s not too uncommon for island territories such as Hawaii, or nations such as Jamaica to have a plentiful supply of fruit growing from trees. Put simply, even though it may not be the fault of the government, this kind of comment is not as crazy as it sounds.

The Hall of Famer went on to say that the cost of living would go down significantly if water and food from trees was easily accessible to everyone, including homeless people. These comments are also not too outrageous but buckle up your seatbelts, it gets strange from now on.

In an extremely odd Tweet (pictured above), Penn can be seen Tweeting “I can’t help to think that all forests are fake”. This is not taken out of context either. Penn does little to clear up what he means and doubles down on his statement continuing “In all of history not one time did a food tree become prominent”.

It is difficult to know whether Penn genuinely believes this, but he has a history of not believing in things such as the time in 2023 when he claimed that CTE was not real so he couldn’t possibly have it.

Either way, it is difficult to see BJ Penn becoming a prominent Hawaiian politician if he does not believe in CTE or forests. It would be hard to trust a man like this with a budget, or anything which required a reasonable amount of thought.
