Brendan Schaub signs deal to make content for ONE FC

In a recent interview with The Schmo, ex-UFC fighter Brendan Schaub announced that he would be working with ONE Championship in the near future. For those wondering, ONE is kind of like the Singaporean version of UFC and has a large Asian following.

Although Schaub has his fair share of critics, this looks like a good career move for him and may actually work out. Often, ONE seem to go for fighters with large social media followings – so it seems that they’ve gone with this formula when looking towards Schaub.

It is not yet known what his exact role will be but on forums it has been speculated that he could be a commentator and interviewer for Amazon Prime. This would effectively mean that Schaub would do the same role that his friend Joe Rogan does at the UFC – but for ONE FC instead.

Speaking to The Schmo, Schaub said “As the Thiccboy network goes, we’re here tonight. We’ve just signed a deal, we’ll be like the new content source with One Championship. We’ve got a bunch more stuff, which is cool. I’m honored to be associated with One Championship, could be good.”
