Ex-UFC fighter Brendan Schaub threatens Joe Rogan – “I’m going to fight him”

Up until the past couple of years, Brendan Schaub has had a pretty solid relationship with Joe Rogan and used to frequently feature on Rogan’s podcast as a guest. It’s fair to say that the two got on well, alongside Schaub’s podcast co-host, Bryan Callen.

At one point, Rogan even convinced Schaub to quit MMA due to the possibility of getting CTE. During this heart to heart chat, Rogan even suggested Schaub become a stand up comedian. However, since then things have clearly soured between the two and now Brendan Schaub has spoken out about Rogan.

On his recent podcast, Schaub was speaking to Bryan Callen about Joe Rogan featuring on Andrew Schulz’s podcast. Callen said, “He doesn’t do our podcast after he did that podcast (Flagrant)” to which Brendan Schaub replied, “I’m going to fight him. I’m finally going to fight him. You guys have always wondered who’s going to win? You’re going to find out. If he comes in, me and him are fighting, simple as that.”This prompted Callen to reply, “I’ll take it personally!”

The truth is, not many people will truly know what’s going on behind the scenes. What is clear is that since the sexual assault allegations surrounding Bryan Callen in 2020, Rogan hasn’t been as close with either Callen or Schaub.

Although this fight would never happen, it would be interesting. Joe Rogan is a known Taekwondo champion and BJJ black belt, whilst Schaub is also a BJJ black belt with a UFC background. Obviously, Schaub also has a height and age advantage on Rogan as well.
