Karate Combat Fighter Myrza-Bek Tebuev BREAKS SKULL & Still Wins Fight!

Myrza-Bek Tebuev broke his skull in a Karate Combat match against Teeik Silva in the main event of season 3. Although the break itself was suspected to have happened in the dying moments of the 2nd round, Tebuev was still able to pull through with everyone involved not even knowing what had happened.

As you can see from the video (which shows the exact moment of the impact), the punch does not look to be anything unusual, with UFC referee Marc Goddard and both fighters not even flinching.

League president Adam Kovacs (who is a 5th dan world champion) took to instagram to show the horrifc scar which Tebuev has been left with following the surgery required from the impact. The first image shows the brutal impact, whilst the second shows a video of the said scar.

This has not deterred Tebuev from fighting again who left the following message for his fans “many thanks for the support friends! don’t worry, see you soon in the pit !!!”.

The message was echoed by his opponent Teeik Silva who responded “Have a amazing recovery, Myrza, our fight was a really war and u are a warrior too. I hope to see u soon again”.
