Tony Jaa Appears To Confirm New Teased Kung Fu Movie

A new Kung-Fu movie named “Nonstop” seems to have been confirmed by Tony Jaa on his official Instagram page. Originally posted by Indonesian Silat expert Iko Uwais, as well as South Korean director Seung Eun Kim on December 10th last year, there was largely radio silence for over one month, which left movie fans in suspense bout whether the project would happen or not.

However, this week, Jaa seems to be fully onboard and posted the movie poster to his Instagram, as well as stating “So excited about this project, can’t wait! followed by the hashtag #nonstop.

As you can see, the movie appears to feature 4 Kung-Fu movie legends, including the aforementioned Jaa and Uwais, as well as Don Lee and Jet Li. This would make sense, as the artist Seung Eun Kim has already sketched Don Lee many times before and can be found on his Instagram page in artwork made for The Roundup.

The only real disappointment for some fans is that the film will almost certainly be animated, unless Seung Eun Kim was simply hired to make artwork surrounding the project. This would take away some of the star power that all 4 men could bring combined on the big screen, in front of a real camera as Nonstop could be martial arts answer to the Expendables franchise. Although with that being said, Kung Fu fans would likely be happy with any combination of the four stars, animated or not.

While some detractors on social media have said that the movie is “fake” and will “never happen”, at this point the movie promotional movie poster has been reposted by several superstars who would certainly not risk their reputation by doing so. More reasonable fans of Kung Fu movies were surprised by such a line-up and dreamed that Steven Seagal and Jean-Claude Van Damme would be added to the cast in the future.
