Cain Velasquez is a retired MMA fighter and ex UFC Champion. Born in California, Velasquez often represented his Mexican roots and was best known for his impressive wrestling mixed in with heavy punches. However, even though he was a force in the cage, he is also known as a gentleman outside of his profession.
Married to Michelle Velasquez, the pair have two children together. Interestingly, Mexican WWE wrestler Rey Mysterio once revealed that Cain Velasquez was also the godfather to his son. In 2022, it was also revealed that Velasquez faced 20 years in prison after allegedly shooting a man who was said to molest one of Valesquez’s family members.
