Joe Rogan on Andrew Tate – “He’s a legit world champion kickboxer”

On Joe Rogan’s recent fight companion series, he spoke on the subject of Andrew Tate who was recently canceled and de-platformed due to holding misogynistic views. Generally speaking, Rogan was complimentary towards Tate but did admit that some of his behavior was too controversial, especially that infamous video.

Speaking on the matter, Joe Rogan said “He was basically saying misogyny. Part of it he’s a champion, part of it’s he’s a world class kickboxer, he’s a hard man. My 12 year old asked me about Andrew Tate. I said he’s a legit world champion kickboxer, I like him a lot. He blew up.”

Later on in the conversation, Rogan added, “He messed up with the misogyny stuff. If he just did the pro-male stuff, pro-accountability, and pro-discipline stuff. He’s wild.”

Interestingly, Rogan also entertained the idea of having Tate on his podcast for a conversation and seemed to be impressed with his kickboxing skills. Despite carving a career for himself as some kind of advice guru, Tate previously had a good career as an international kickboxer which seemed to strike a chord with Joe Rogan.
